Professional Indemnity insurance is designed to protect professionals who receive income for their advice and covers a breach of their professional duty. Points of Risk:

• It is important to ensure that your policy schedule accurately describes your business activities and that any additional business activities are notified to your insurer immediately.

• Pay particular attention to the endorsements and/or exclusions on your policy schedule as these can void your cover and leave you without any protection.

• Professional Indemnity is a “Claims Made” contract, this means that any claims made against you must be reported to the insurer before the expiry of the policy.
